Nick obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the UNSW in 2002. His undergrad major and work in early 2003 was concerned with solar energy. From 2003-5 Nick completed a 2-year masters in Wind Energy at the Technical University of Denmark. On returning to Australia, Nick presented his masters thesis at the Australian wind energy conference, AusWIND2005.
