Baran Yildiz

School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering

Baran is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at CEEM and School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE), UNSW. Baran’s research focuses on energy forecasting, appliance scheduling and automation for demand side management and integration of distributed energy resources (DER). Baran completed his Ph.D. at SPREE on the analysis and forecasting of residential electricity loads for smart energy systems. Baran has M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Engineering from SPREE and B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey. Previously, Baran had professional experience as a PV system engineer and energy engineer.
