Mohsen Fadaee Nejad

School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications

Mohsen has been a part-time PhD student with CEEM since 2017, focusing on utilising intelligent transport technologies to reduce emissions in the transport industry. Mohsen has more than 15 years of industry experience in the energy and transport sectors as a technical manager. He has a Masters Degree in energy from the UPM University in Malaysia. Over the last 3 years, Mohsen has researched and acheived positive outcomes in the fields of intelligent control systems, driver behaviours on carbon offset and the impact of autonomous and connected vehicles with CEEM. In the coming years, Mohsen will explore on the impact of transport electrification, specifically the role of electric vehicles (EVs) in emission reduction through smart charging, bidirectional charging and optimization techniques.
