Kanyawee is a Research Associate in CEEM and at the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering, UNSW. She focuses on characterisation and modelling of photovoltaic generation to investigate the impacts of high renewables penetration in the electricity market. Her interests include utility-scale and distributed photovoltaics, variability and uncertainty of renewable energy, renewable energy performance assessment and renewable energy modelling. Kanyawee’s doctoral thesis characterised short-term variability, uncertainty and controllability of utility-scale photovoltaics and their implications for integrating high renewables penetrations.
