Bernardo is a Postdoctoral Research Associate affiliated with the Collaboration on Energy and Environmental Markets (CEEM) at UNSW Sydney. His previous research includes prospective life cycle assessment of lithium-ion batteries, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) integration and consumer adoption, and fault detection in PV systems. He is currently working on consumer energy resources (CER), including Project CICCADA, which examines the conformance of distributed PV inverters with grid standards using fleet-scale telemetry data.
